Tabs Mix 9 crowned U-10 champions

Kota Kinabalu: Team Tabs Mix 9 emerged Under-10 champions in the BFC Cup Open football tournament held in Kota Marudu on Saturday.
They thrashed KB FC 6-0 in the final to take the title and in third place was SK Lampada.

It was also the team’s second title this year following their win in the Sunquick and Fatos Sport Cup Championships in Penampang held last month.
Meanwhile, team Tabs Mix 8 failed to repeat their success in the Sunquick and Fatos Sport Cup Championships with a shock 0-1 loss to Farizz Football Academy 0-1 in the final of the Under-8 category.
It was the team’s first defeat to their opponents in several meetings.
Coach Suryadi Sarman, who led the team, said another Tabs team finished third in the Under-8 category, and he was pleased with the good performance shown by the players throughout the tournament.
