MANILA: Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Officer-In Charge Hans Leo J. Cacdac said further discussions will be held with the Department of Foreign Affairs regarding the registration exercise of stateless Filipinos in Sabah.
Replying to questions from Daily Express during a press conference, recently, he confirmed that plans are underway to document stateless Filipinos in Malaysia, particularly in Sabah.

Philippine President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr recently appointed Cacdac as Officer-In-Charge of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), replacing the late Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople who died on Aug 22, 2023.
Before he was appointed DMW OIC, Cacdac was the Department’s undersecretary for welfare and foreign employment.
