Noodle overload: 28 bowls, 3 friends, and a comedy of errors

A SABAHAN recently shared his experience of mistakenly ordering 28 bowls of boat noodles in Kuala Lumpur with two other friends. 

Taking it to TikTok, Mr Kaamatan 2023 winner Tommy Gedeus, under the @lifeastanakwagu username, said they had no choice but to finish the meal.

“Have the staff of the restaurant cross-checked because there were three customers and yet with 28 orders?” replied one Tiktok user @kang.jae.kyung.

Tommy said the staff might have thought other friends were still joining them.

Some netizens pointed out that there is also such restaurant in Sabah, to which Tommy said that his first try was in Kuala Lumpur.

When asked about the price of the mistakenly overly-ordered meal, he said it was still "people-friendly".

At the end of the video, it showed that they had finished the boat noodles. Fortunately, each bowl contains a small portion.
