Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded its sixth Covid-19 fatality when an 85-year-old local woman died at her home in Keningau on Thursday.
Her body was taken to Keningau Hospital, where subsequent tests conducted on the deceased revealed that she was Covid-19 positive, said Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The woman, Malaysia's case #8,370, was the nation's 119th fatality and the second in the district.
With the death, Sabah's tally of cases rose to 356, while Labuan's remained unchanged at 17. Malaysia recorded 33 new cases on Friday.
