KENINGAU: A total of six Cooperative bodies in the Pensiangan Parliamentary constituency received assistance from the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (MCC) amounting to RM390,000 in conjunction with the opening of Cooperative Kampung Luanti Baru Berhad here.
The cooperatives that received assistance from MCC are Koperasi Kampung Binuwou Tengah Sook Berhad received RM100,000, Koperasi Panoi/Marasak Keningau Berhad (RM85,000), Koperasi Kampung Kabuan Sook Berhad (RM80,000), Koperasi Kraf Batu Lunguyan Sook Berhad (RM55,000), Koperasi Kampung Simbuan Sook Berhad (RM40,000) and Koperasi Orang Asal Lanas Sook Keningau Berhad received RM30,000.

The assistance is to repair and expand the building to a hardware store, to finance the construction cost of the goods store and LPG cooking gas stall sales store, to finance the construction cost of the new hardware store building including electrical wiring and equipment.
