LAHAD DATU: A total of 578 packet of cooking oil and 800 packs of cigarette with unpaid taxes were found hidden under palm fronds at Kampung Pangkalan, Desa Kencana, Sunday.
The discovery was made by Marine Police Force at 1pm.

Its Commanding Officer, Superintendent Gan Ping Sin said while patrolling, his men stumbled upon pile of fronds that look suspicious.
“Upon inspection, our personnel found boxes containing cooking oil and cigarettes that were believed hidden here before smuggle out to a neighbouring country.
