LABUAN: Businesses on the island urged the Government to adopt more practical approach for the sake of jobs and the economy.
They felt there should be some relaxation in the rules so long as the Standard Operating Procedures are complied.

The Labuan Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said while no one can predict when the Covid-19 pandemic would subside, restaurants and coffeeshops cannot survive on takeaway business and dine-ins should be allowed with limits.
Its Chairman Datuk Dahlif Singh
(pic) said it is time the government took a new approach in battling the pandemic by allowing districts which are not badly affected to allow dine-ins for customers under strict SOP requirements.
