Kota Kinabalu: Three men from Kg Pulau Gaya made a daring effort to capture a 14.5-foot-long male crocodile in Kg Lobong waters off Pulau Gaya, near here, on Saturday.The trio - Mazlin Jiran, Iduin Idris and Arkam Pukul – swung into action following sightings of the crocodile at 6.30am.

The crocodile weighing some 200-250kg was believed to have lost its way, resulting in it ending up in the waters off the island.
