Tawau to vaccinate students on Monday

TAWAU: The District Health Office will carry out the district-level Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for students aged 12-17 at three different vaccination locations here from Monday.

The locations are SMK Kuhara, SMK Titingan and SMK Tawau II. The students could walk-in to the designated vaccination location and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign the consent form.

Students of SMK Kuhara could do their vaccination at the school from 8am to 3pm while students of SK Tanjong Batu, SK Muhibbahraya, SK Bahagia and SK Jambatan Putih could walk-in to SMK Kuhara from 3pm to 4.30pm the same day. The lunch break is from 12.30pm-2pm.

For SMK Titingan, school students could walk-in for vaccination from 8am to 11.30am while the students of SK Kg Titingan and SK Melodi could walk-in to SMK Titingan from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

For SMK Tawau II, students could walk-in for vaccination starting from 8am to 11.30am while the students of SK Taman Tawau, SJKC Kung Ming and SK Kem Kabota could walk-in to SMK Tawau II from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

District Health Officer, Dr G. Navindran, also urged those who have allergic reaction after getting vaccinated and have missed their second appointment to contact the District Health Office at 089-775733/089-775916 during office hours from 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday).
