Three S’kan DAP divisions quit
TAWAU: Three DAP divisions in Sandakan comprising 180 members quit the party, Friday, following in the footsteps of former Sabah DAP Chairman Datuk Jimmy Wong who did so on Monday. The three divisions were Taman Megah, Batu 8 Jalan Labuk and Kg Ulu Dusun. In order to comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), only representatives from the three divisions attended the letter signing session on Thursday night

Present were chairman of DAP Taman Megah Division Wong Tshun Khee, chairman of DAP Batu 8 Jalan Labuk Liau Wui Kit and some representatives of DAP Kg Ulu Dusun.

Speaking on behalf of the 180, Wong said their decision was due to disappointment with the recent state party polls that saw senior leaders ousted in party elections.

“It appears the party (DAP) has lost its original concept of unity and tolerance...thus, we decided to quit,” he said.
