Women’s group to hold seminar on rights

SANDAKAN: A seminar on women’s rights is scheduled to be held by the Persatuan Wanita Progresif Sabah in Beluran and Telupid soon.Its Chairperson Florence Paul Baklin said the seminar’s goal is to educate women about the necessity of learning how to defend themselves from domestic violence, abuse, underage marriage and other issues involving women’s and children’s welfare.
