RANAU: A 31 years old woman was carried all the way down to safety after she sprained her right leg during a Mount Kinabalu climb on Sunday.

Head of the Fire and Rescue Department (BBP) Ranau, PPgB Ridwan bin Mohd Taib said the incident is the 31st that happened the past six months.

It happened at 9.30am at kilometer 6.1 on the Mount Kinabalu trail. The PBB Auxiliary Fire Officer Mountain Search and Rescue (MoSAR) team had to act quickly after the victim’s injured part began to swell.
