Kota Kinabalu: Fifty per cent of the 650 units in the 36-storey LikasVue mixed development project were secured at its launch on Saturday.

According to Asian Pac Holdings Bhd General Manager Kevin Lo, 200 Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) were signed within the first month of the project’s word. “The dual and single key layout designs coupled with a comprehensive list of facilities managed to capture a lot of public attention and interest.

“We consider the 200 SPA signings in one month a record for the Kota Kinabalu property market,” he said.

Units are two or three bedroom suites that come in seven varying layouts ranging from 884 to 1,056 square feet while price starts from RM558,000.

Meanwhile, construction is underway on the plot where Wisma Koperasi Serbaguna Sanya Berhad (Kosan) and once stood.

Kevin said Kosan’s faith in Asian Pac propelled developments, extending his gratitude to its Chairman Datuk Ellron Angin and upper management.

“I think the price range is quite reasonable for first-time homebuyers or investors. The location is close to the city which is a plus for locals and tourists alike.

”The conducive living environment is augmented with retail shops, a supermarket and a host of other commercial outlets. “Generous wellness amenities include the rooftop Sky Gym, Swimming Pool and first Indoor Futsal Court amongst outstanding house facilities. “LikasVue’s prime location in the heart of Likas, just opposite All Saints Secondary School, ensures seamless all-round connectivity to the city centre and suburban hubs for work, education and recreation. “With an unimpeded skyline, LikasVue commands a panoramic vista of Likas Bay, the surrounding hillscape and even Mount Kinabalu on a clear day,” Kevin said.

Also speaking at the morning event was State Ministry of Youth and Sports Permanent Secretary Putera Jali who said LikasVue would be among top choices for tourists and families.

“Sabah recorded 4.9 million International tourists in 2019 and I believe we can beat that record when all borders reopen. LikasVue would be here ready to accommodate them.

“I wholeheartedly believe this project would bring golden opportunities for those who have long set eyes on property in Likas. “Likas is fully loaded with education and health facilities as well as recreational and tourist spots like Likas Bay, the Floating Mosque, a seaside bike route, among others,” he said.

Slated for completion in 2026, Asian Pac is already known for their success of Imago Mall, KK Times Square, The Loft and Karamunsing Capital.
