KENINGAU: Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said SK Pekan Keningau being among the oldest educational institutions in the district has produced many leaders and important figures.

“I hope there will be as many future national leaders produced by this  school in particular and schools throughout Sabah in general,” he said, when inaugurating SK Pekan’s Keningau 100th years Golden Jubilee Celebration at this school on Thursday.

Jeffrey said education can change the fate of a person, the fate of a family, an agency or even a country. Education guides and leads us to achieve success in whatever field we venture into.
