District Police Chief ACP Rohan Shah Ahmad confirmed the receipt of the report from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Customs) Lahad Datu on Friday.

In a statement, Rohan said the shots were fired during an operation to arrest two suspected drug dealers, at approximately 3.30pm in Jalan Tengah Nipah.
