Hawkers, petty traders hold gotong royong to clean business area

KENINGAU: The Keningau District Hawkers and Petty Traders Association (PPPK) continues to play a role in ensuring the environment of the business area under the association is clean for the comfort of its customers.Its Chairman, Ho Khon Chin said the association always cooperates with the Local Authority to ensure that the business area is always clean to prevent diseases.

“We hold gotong royong activities among its members, the local community and the Local Authority among others to strengthen the relationship of cooperation and current information sharing,” she said after the gotong royong programme held at the KD Damai premises area here recently.
She said so far various programmes were carried out by the association and hoped similar programmes with involvement of all parties could be continued from time to time for the sake of common good and the cleanliness of the town.
At the same time, Ho reminded the association members to always comply with the regulations of the local authority so that no action would be imposed on them.
