KUDAT: A temporary authority will be formed as an initial step in realising the proposed establishment of the Kudat Banggi Development Authority (Kubda) and a Duty Free Zone on Banggi Island.

Kudat MP, Datuk Verdon Bahanda, said the authority would consist of several individuals with expertise in various fields required for the initiative. He said he raised the proposal at a meeting with the Sabah Economic Advisory Council (SEAC) at the Kinabalu Tower building, recently.
