TELUPID: The water woe faced by residents of Kampung Bukit Mengidam Mukim Sapi will be over when its Mini Gravity Water Plant is ready.
It will benefit more than 300 residents involving some 45 houses.

The project, under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), began construction in May 2023 and will be fully completed by August 2024 with a capacity of pumping 16,000 litres of water per day.
Telupid MP Datuk Jonnybone J Kurum thanked the government for paying due attention to rural areas where the project would benefit those living far from the treatment plant.
He said this to the media immediately after officiating the Gravity Water Supply Project in Kampung Mengidam, here, recently.
Meanwhile, Chairman of JKKK Kg Bukit Mengidam, Petrus Tadon, on behalf of the residents, expressed his gratitude to the government.
