Aid for 300 needy in Keningau

KENINGAU: Agrobank presented a zakat donation amounting to RM60,000 in the form of Duit Raya and food baskets that benefited 300 asnafs (orphans) at the Ar-Raudah Mosque Sook, recently.
President and Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank, Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin, said the bank took the opportunity to bring cheer to those in need in conjunction with the upcoming Syawal.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, said such initiatives are strongly encouraged.
“The event is in line with the government’s aspirations in achieving social inclusivity,” said the Pensiangan MP.
