Hajiji attends inaugural National Energy Council meeting

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor attended the inaugural National Energy Council meeting held to outline strategic directions and policies for the national energy transition roadmap (NETR).
Chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at his office in Putrajaya today, the meeting discussed several key issues on the nation’s current and future energy needs and updates on 10 flagship projects under the NETR including one Sabah flagship project, Sabah Energy Security under the purview of the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS).

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg and seven Federal cabinet ministers.
Also in attendance were Sabah State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong and ECoS Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdul Nasser Abdul Wahid.
