BEAUFORT: Kampung Nabahan, a remote village here, will be getting the much-needed boost through an innovative community initiative that combines solar power and entrepreneurship training for its residents.
Lumadan Assemblyman Datuk Ruslan Muharam, has allocated RM80,000 to install off-grid solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in the village.

The project aims to assist hardcore poor households in the village by providing them with solar-powered lights and fans.
A total of nine households have been selected to receive this assistance, which includes the installation of two lights and two fans for each home.
