2 survive light aircraft crash in Sungkai
Fire and rescue officers with one of two people who were on board the training aircraft which crashed in a plantation in Sungkai this morning.
IPOH: A light training aircraft crashed in the Felda Besout 2 Tambahan plantation area in Sungkai today.

Perak police chief Yusri Hassan Basri confirmed that the incident occurred at 9.55am.

“Yes, it was a training aircraft and two people survived the crash,” he said, adding that it was a man and a woman.

He said they were sent to the Slim River Hospital for treatment.

He also said the type of aircraft could not be determined at this time.

A video of the incident has been circulating via WhatsApp.
