Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Health is currently upgrading 58 health clinics in Sabah at a total cost of RM21.5 million.

Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said three were upgraded in the first four months while another 55 are in the process.

“That’s a commitment to deal with poor clinics and some are under construction for us to complete before the end of this year.

“I told the Director that no upgrading project is to be carried over to next year,” he said during the National Malaria, Tuberculosis and Leprosy Day Celebration Ceremony at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Sunday.
