Get Federal to withdraw action, Bung told
“I (wish to) remind Bung (right), that the so-called blunder by Fuad actually stemmed from the actions of the Malaysian Attorney General representing the Federal Government who appealed against the decision of the High Court," Pandikar (left) said.
Kota Kinabalu: Usno President Tan Sri Pandikar Amin challenged Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar to urge federal leaders to withdraw the appeal against the High Court decision which allowed Sabah Law Society’s (SLS) judicial review on Sabah’s 40 percent entitlement stipulated under Article 112C and 112D of the Federal Constitution.

“Tengku Datuk Fuad’s argument in court did not help SLS. It is very disappointing and is a violation and betrayal of the rights of the people of Sabah in line with the spirit of the Malaysia Agreement 1963.

“I (wish to) remind Bung, that the so-called blunder by Fuad actually stemmed from the actions of the Malaysian Attorney General representing the Federal Government who appealed against the decision of the High Court.

“If the Federal Government has sincerity and determination to help the people of Sabah, why are the rights guaranteed in the Federal Government Constitution under Article 112D and 112C not simplified under their management.

“On the other hand, what the Federal Government did through its representative, the Attorney General, is revoke this right by making an appeal.”

In relation to Bung’s call for Hajiji and his ministers to resign, Pandikar said then it is also not wrong to suggest that Law Minister, Datuk Seri Azalina Aziz and the Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi as the leader of Umno resign.

“Because they have violated the rights of the people of Sabah with their silence.

“Which can be described as approving the actions of the Attorney General to appeal the decision of the Kota Kinabalu High Court,” he contended.
