How did you achieve it? Chong: I was able to mobilise all the various relevant enforcement officials. I succeeded in mobilising the Royal Malaysian Police, the Armed Forces all the Local Authorities, and enforcement officials to work as one team. It was a big family of Malaysians tackling one common problem, which everyone called the ‘Mother of All Problems’ and that is the illegal immigrants.

People just passed her every single day and no one ever stopped. She was starving and “seemingly on the brink of death”.
