Kota Kinabalu: Organic food and vegetables become the latest trend in the market nowadays as customers become more health conscious.The products can now be easily found in the market as more retail outlets and online shops being opened with the Pasar 33 in Foh Sang the latest.

It was launched by the United Sabah Chinese Communities Association of Kota Kinabalu (USCCAKK) President Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen, Friday.
Wong was pleased to see the store selling a variety of organic vegetables and fruits as well as eco-friendly dishwashing liquid, floor detergent and frozen seafood.
Also available were online shopping and delivery service; frozen deboned milkfish produced by companies owned by her son, Jonathan Wong, and KK Cool drinking water by her daughter Melissa Wong.
“Online shopping is for the customers’ convenient, especially during the pandemic and the movement restriction as many people prefer to stay at home,” said Susan.

She also invited the proprietors to expand the outlet to the Benoni Commercial Centre (BCC) in Papar as it is a good concept store.
BCC is a future satellite town developed by the Wong’s company WSG Group. Also present were Pasar 33 directors Prof Dato’ Sri Dr Mike Chan, Edwin Lim, Tommy Liaw, Lim Chen Ming, Shelley Lo and Ricky Lee.
