Sabah decides to extend MCO 3.0

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has decided to extend the implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0 in Sabah until June 28, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor (pic).Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

He said the decision was made as a measure to curb the increase in Covid-19 infection in the State following assessment by the Sabah Disaster Management Committee (Covid-19) in its meeting at 3pm on Saturday.

On Friday, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob was reported as saying that the third MCO scheduled to end tomorrow (Monday, June 14) has been extended for another two weeks until June 28, following the high number of Covid-19 cases in the nation. He said this was decided in the National Security Council (NSC) special meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Tan Sri MuhyiddinYassin on Friday, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
