Unitar was established in 1997. They offer both conventional and online study courses in Malaysia, which include an established range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. University programmes
Unitar offers courses at 13 locations across Malaysia, including the main campus in Kelana Jaya. It has a total enrolment of over 5,000 students spread within 40 homegrown programmes ranging from the Foundation, Diploma and Bachelor’s levels to the postgraduate Master’s and Doctorate’s.
After Covid-19, many things have changed. Lifestyle has changed and Education mode has also changed. Many students, who can’t afford to go for further education, can now consider obtaining a Diploma or Degree through ODL. If they are working they need not quit their jobs to go to college. They can still work and study.
The tuition fee stated below could give you an indication of how much you need to pay. Unitar also offers a wide range of scholarships and financial aid for students. Even if you study through Distance learning you are eligible to apply for these scholarships / financial aid.

The Online Application is open throughout the year. Candidates may apply for the programme of their choice on-line.
If you possess other equivalent qualification(s) such as a Foundation or Diploma from another University/College/Institution/Polytechnic, you are required to submit the following documents:
- A certified true copy of Certificate of Completion(s).
- A certified true copy of Academic Transcript(s).
- All relevant information and materials related to your previous studies from SPM onward
