Platform for job seekers, advertisers in S’kan 
SANDAKAN: Job seekers and employers can search for and advertise jobs through a platform created by the Sandakan Parliamentary Office during the Covid-19 pandemic, said MP Vivian Wong (pic).

She said companies with job vacancies can get help from the office to seek candidates while job seekers can apply for jobs.

“We often receive messages from Sandakan residents who have been laid off or are unable to find work during this difficult time,” she said.

“Therefore, our team has taken the initiative to become a ‘human resource division’ for the people of Sandakan, especially youths.

“We will also go from company to company with vacancies and match them with Sandakan people who are looking for jobs.”

The Sandakan Parliamentary Office is reachable via phone at 089-218713, while jobseekers can drop their resumes and ask any questions at Wong’s official Facebook account.

“Let’s be a united community and help each other out,” she said.
