New chief for Labuan Islam Chamber

LABUAN: The Islam Chamber of Commerce Malaysia, Labuan, has unanimously elected Datuk Dr Ramli Tahir as its new Chairman of the three-year term from 2021 to 2014.

Others elected during the 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) were: Deputy Chairman Datuk Haji Gapilin Nasarudin, Vice Chariman Sabrina Jessey Mohd Iskandar, Secretary Haryani Datuk Hj Isli Siput and Treasurer Suffian Bungsu.

The elected nine committee members include: Effalin Illham; Suffian Bungsu; Azli Azman Chua; Ahmad Syukri Mohammad; Mohd farid Isuddin Jaffar; Khairul Mazammil Zakaria; Hji Haryani Datuk Hj Isli; Dayangku Norizah Pangiran Zainal; and Datin Dr Nurzunaidah Hj Abdul Khannan. The chamber announced the appreciation of services rendered by the outgoing Chairman Haji Wan Abdul Rahim.  Also present at the AGM was the former DG of Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFS), Datuk Danial Mah Abdullah.
