Mum hopes all crew are safe

SANDAKAN: The family of Mohammad Sudeh Sudin hopes all the crew of MV Dai Cat 06 cargo ship that went missing six weeks ago will be found soon.Sandakan Member of Parliament Vivian Wong who visited the family said Sudeh’s mother, Ratna Abu, 53, is distraught. She is also weak and depressed over the incident.

“Clearly his mother had no news about her youngest son after they received a report regarding the incident involving her son and his friends.
“Sudeh’s mother is very weak and unable to move, pondering the fate of her youngest son because there is no certainty where her son is at this time and how he is with his other friends,” said Vivian.
His family said that the last time Sudeh contacted them was at the beginning of this year before receiving the news of the ship’s disappearance.
“We were informed that this issue will also be brought to the Cabinet. We pray that all affairs and search and rescue missions can be carried out in the best possible way.

“We also pray that all the ship’s crew will be found safely and with their families,” sad Vivian.
