KENINGAU: The Program Turun Padang Ke Arah Memasyarakatkan Koperasi (MasKop) of the Malaysian Cooperative Institute (IKMa) Sabah zone is aimed at increasing awareness on the role of cooperatives in developing the community and national economy.

Director of IKMa Sabah Zone, Norbiha Kasmuri, said IKMa took the initiative to cater to the target group, especially B40, and promote the training program offered by this institute throughout this year.

She said the programme, with the concept of a roadshow, in 30 selected locations throughout Malaysia can promote the advantages and privileges of cooperatives to the community. It can also help publicise the services and products offered by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development (Kuskop), IKMa and agencies.
