Application opens for Ramadan Bazaar stalls

BEAUFORT: Applications for Ramadan Bazaar stalls  here are now open and can be obtained at the Beaufort District Council (MDB) counter, said Executive Officer Mohd Ainol Mohd Dun. 

He said the bazaar site would be located at the MDB small office branch in Membakut which opened for applications on Feb 14, while March 1 would be vote draw to determine the stall location.

He said applications for bazaar sites in Beaufort, Weston and Gadong was held on Feb 15 at Dataran Bagandang and vote draw on Feb 29 at Dewan Pak Musa. 

Mohd Ainol said the price for each form is RM2 while the payment for each site is RM60, adding that applications close on Feb 21. 

He stressed that cleanliness is a priority of the MDB and hoped that traders would practise proper hygiene when operating their stalls. 

“The MDB enforcement will monitor the cleanliness alongside the MDB’s Health Division, to ensure that all traders abide by these rules,” he said.
