JCIM calling on young Malaysians
Kota Kinabalu: Young Malaysians aged 18 to 40 are invited to submit their participation to three nationwide projects unveiled by JCI Luyang.

They are the Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians Award (TOYM), the Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA), and the Sustainable Development Award (SDA).

The unveiling ceremony was done by Desmond Chan, political secretary to Industrial Development and Entrepreneur Minister, Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe at Likas Square.

The TOYM will take place at Klang Valley on Sept 21.

“Sabah youths are encourage to participate to showcase their talents at a national stage as this award recognise their leadership, innovation, and service to their communities,” he said.

The CYEA will be held, at the Permaisuri Zarith Sofia Opera House in Johor Bahru on Sept 28.

For this award, JCI Malaysia aims to empower aspiring business leaders by providing recognition, mentorship and networking opportunities.

“For young entrepreneurs in Sabah, CYEA offers a platform to showcase their innovative ventures, gain invaluable exposure, and access resources to scale their businesses to new heights,” he said.

The SDA is scheduled for Sept 22 at the KSL Hotel, Bandar Klang to recognise individuals and organisations committed to advancing sustainable development goals, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

“In Sabah, where environmental conservation and community well-being are paramount, SDA serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring action and collaboration towards building a more sustainable future,” he said.

Through this award, JCIM empowers Sabah’s youth to spearhead impactful initiatives that address pressing environmental and social challenges.

JCIM’s TOYM, CYEA, and SDA projects offer invaluable opportunities for young Sabahans to unleash their potential, foster growth, and seize promising opportunities.
