“This marks a significant milestone for Life Water, one of our esteemed local manufacturers, as they take responsibility for Lot 815, IZ8.

“This ceremony represents a new beginning for our local industries as they continue to develop and expand their production lines in their new factory at KKIP.

“This investment is instrumental in establishing their production line, which is expected to create approximately 200 job opportunities for the local community.

“This development not only strengthens the local economy but also demonstrates our commitment to fostering local talent and providing sustainable employment,” he said.

Phoong said while actively promoting foreign direct investment (FDI), the Government must also support the local manufacturing industry, enabling it to develop and progress alongside the economic growth of the State.

Therefore, he said, the investment by Life Water is a testament to the potential of our local industries to contribute significantly to the State’s economic landscape.

The ceremony concluded with a visit to Life Water Industries Sdn Bhd’s existing factory.

During the tour, Liaw escorted Phoong, providing an in-depth look into their business operations, which include a fully automated bottling line.

The visit highlighted the innovative approaches and commitment to quality that define Life Water Industries.

“The Sabah Government remains steadfast in its dedication to creating a conducive environment for local businesses to thrive.

“The collaboration between KKIP and Life Water Industries Sdn Bhd exemplifies the synergies between the public and private sectors in driving economic development.

“We look forward to witnessing the continued success and growth of Life Water Industries as they embark on this exciting journey.

“Furthermore, the new bottling plant is expected to incorporate cutting-edge technology and environmentally sustainable practices, setting a benchmark for future industrial developments in Sabah.
