Banker brings charity to rural Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: For banker Datuk Mervin Jeffrey Cross, an excursion to the interior of Sabah during a weekend off-day was an eye-opener, especially for someone hailing from Peninsular Malaysia.
He focused on aspects within his control, such as supporting education and health for rural communities.
He visited the San Damiano Girls’ Hostel in Kiulu, where he delivered a motivational talk to the students, emphasising the abundance of opportunities beyond their current circumstances.
