SANDAKAN: Sabah Umno Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin hopes the State Government will appoint an independent appraiser committee to resolve the issue of 40 per cent entitlement of revenue derived from the State from the Federal Government.

He said he has been in contact with some lawyers who said the Sabah can appoint an independent appraiser to calculate how much the State Government should receive annually.

“This means the issue under the Malaysia Agreement (MA63) which Sabah has been fighting for can be resolved after 61 years,” he said.
