SMK Keningau II sees better STPM 2022 performance

KENINGAU: SMK Keningau II tops in the School Average Grade (GPS) in STPM 2022, from 2.89 compared to 2.69 the previous year, said its Principal, Haji Ahmad Haji Saribin here.

He said the school also surpassed the National Average Grade (GPK) of 2.82 and hoped it will maintain the achievement.

According to him,this school also ranked fifth at State level in the category of schools that have 50-90 STPM candidates.

“Evaoemicca Kawat is an outstanding STPM student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00,” he said at the STPM result announcement and Form Six Student Graduation ceremony held at SMK Keningau II hall here.

Ahmud said Evaoemicca obtained A’s in all four subjects that she sat for.

The other nine students who also excelled included Mohd Shah Ridzwan Zainal @ Hadi who obtained CGPA 3.92, Nur Hasiqah Hajiman (3.92), Hawafitri Raitom @ Ginasius (3.84), Wardahtun Zahirah Rikin (3.83), Leonoddy Tadias (3.67), Diana Nabilah Wasidi (3.59), Nursaihah Sahali (3.59), Mohammad Eirzlan Daud (3.50), Nur Syaqilla Adzwa Albanus @ Jamani (3.50).

Ahmud said that the Form Six Centre (PTEM) of SMK Keningau II will continue to strive to achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by the Form Six Management Unit which is to achieve GPS 3.00 in 2025.

Meanwhile, Evaoemicca, the eldest of the four siblings, intends to become a teacher and will continue her studies at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (Upsi).

She said her desire to become an educator is driven by her dream to see more children in the interior succeed in their education.
