No reports lodged against Akmal over sword photo, says Razarudidn
Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain says the police will only initiate an investigation if a report is lodged.
PETALING JAYA: The police have received no reports on Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh’s Facebook post of a photo of himself wielding a sword, says Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain.

He was responding to Senator Ti Lian Ker’s inquiry on why the Merlimau assemblyman had yet to be investigated for sedition.

Razarudin told FMT that according to standard procedure, the police will only initiate an investigation if a report is lodged.

On March 14, Akmal uploaded a photo of himself wielding a sword on a recent trip to Japan with the caption: “No matter what, we will not waver from our stance. Better to die standing than live kneeling.”

When it comes to skincare, the first thought on our minds would be beauty products such as serums, creams, and masks. However, beauty experts and even researchers have stated that drinking more water can be just as crucial for your skin's health.
Ti later asked why Akmal was not investigated or warned, while DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang faced interrogation simply for “translating the constitution”.

In December last year, Bukit Aman confirmed that it would record Lim’s statement in response to comments he made on his blog regarding the possibility of a non-Malay becoming the prime minister.

Criminal investigation department deputy director Rosdi Isa said Lim had touched on constitutional issues.

Lim himself said he was accused of inciting provocation, but insisted that it was not his intention.
