Kota Kinabalu: After months of Covid-19 shutdown, at least one cinema in the city centre will finally reopen tomorrow (March 6), a much-anticipated development after many long-awaited blockbusters' premiers were postponed since last year.
Suria Sabah on Instagram today announced the GSC Cinema located on the shopping mall's eighth floor will start screening.

Meanwhile, the cinema chain said they are reopening at 26 locations nationwide starting today.
"As for the other locations, we have yet to get the green-light from the local council to open, but please stay tuned for any updates," GSC announced on Instagram.
"In accordance with the SOPs issued by the National Security Council, cinemagoers may only sit together in the Twin seats if they are family members living in the same household," the chain said in response to a follower's query on the social media platform.
