Tawau chamber helping to register workers for jabs

TAWAU: Employers who intended to register for free Covid-19 vaccination for their local employees or foreign workers can submit their application to the Tawau Chinese Chamber of Commerce (TCCC).Its President, Chia Seong Fatt said it is a programme jointly organised by the chamber and the Tawau Health Department.

Employers can download the application form from the official Facebook Page of the Tawau Chinese Chamber of Commerce and submit the completed form to the chamber’s secretariat by Sept 3 by noon.
Chia said this vaccination application programme is opens to all employers for their local employees or foreign workers, including their family members aged 18 and above.
“We will not impose any charges for this application and we hope all employers will not miss out on this opportunity to register their employees or foreign workers for their vaccinations through the chamber.
“The employees and family members will have their vaccinations at the newly PPV centre at Tawau Basketball Hall here starting from Sept 4,” he said.

According to him, the newly established PPV center can accommodate 2,000 people daily.
