LAHAD DATU: Four Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) Sabah divisions here requested that the party be allowed to contest the Lahad Datu Parliamentary seat on a GRS ticket.Star Vice-President cum Silam chief Apas Nawawie Saking, who chaired the meeting, said the party’s four divisions here had the strength to win Lahad Datu on a GRS ticket.

“Star election machinery in the four divisions are ready to face the general election,” he said.
Nawawie said the four divisions have a reasonable number of members to support the candidate’s victory.
Also present were Star Supreme Council Member cum Tungku Division Head, Suling Isib, Segama Division Head Silvester Gombes, and Kunak Division Head Valintine Rengers Lojikim.
According to Nawawie, Star will present the joint resolution to President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

During the meeting, four STAR division heads including youth leaders and women leaders agreed to nominate one name as GRS candidate to contest the P188 Lahad Datu parliamentary constituency.
