Kota Kinabalu: Sipitang is a small town near the Sarawak border.One of the important facilities in the district is the Sipitang-Labuan and Labuan-Sipitang speedboat services – twice a day.

The services are scheduled at 8am and 1pm (Sipitang-Labuan) while the Labuan-Sipitang schedule is 9am and 1pm. The speedboat facility is located at Public Jetty, Tanjung Pagar village.
The Sipitang Passenger Boat Operators Ferry Association plays a role in transportation for the local residents. Passengers can now check schedules and get tickets through online booking.
The Sipitang-Labuan trip takes 45 minutes to one hour depending on weather conditions.
For those who live from other areas and wished to come to Labuan via Sipitang, they can leave their vehicles near Jeti Awan, Tanjung Pagar village, with a rental rate of RM5 in the non-covered area while the covered area is charged a rental of RM10 a day.

The ticket price is RM18 one way, while there are five speedboats namely Sibubu 1, Sibubu 2, KAKA 5, KAKA 6, and Kaya 88 providing services to passengers.
