Community colleges in Malaysia are administered by the Ministry of Education (MOE) via the Jabatan Pengajian Kolej Komuniti.
Community college offers four types of programmes:
* Sijil Kolej Komuniti
(Community College Certificate)
* Sijil Kemahiran Khas
(Special Skills Certificate)
* Diploma secara Pembelajaran
Berasaskan Kerja
(Work Based Learning Diploma)
* Pembelajaran Sepanjang Hayat

Application for Admission to Community College
Application for admission to Community College is via UPUOnline Application at http://upu.moe.gov.my/ and application is open from January to April every year (subject to amendment)
If you are a school leaver, contact the nearest Community College and find out about their intakes. If you have missed the intake, ask when the next intake is. Often there are second intakes.
There are 8 Community Colleges in Sabah. However there are many more training centres, vocational institutes which are similar to community colleges. Browse through the courses offered by all these educational institutes. If they offer the course that you are interested in, contact the institute to find out more.
