UMS' College E reign supreme

Kota Kinabalu: College E took three titles in the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Sports Carnival that concluded at the UMS Sports Complex on Sunday.Eight sports events were competed in the two-day event and College E reigned supreme in the 9-A-Side football, Men Beach Volleyball, and Sepak Takraw.

College Tun Mustapha and Beta A Labuan took two title each in the women futsal , Badminton and Women Beach Volleyball , Women Volleyball respectively while Alpha Labuan clinched the Women Volleyball title.

UMS Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni (TNC HEP) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Ali graced the closing ceremony highlighting the importance of sporting activities among students.

"Sports will develop a healthy citizen in the country and bridging unity and integration among the various ethic races, religions as well as developing an identity of the country through patriotism," he said.
