Sandakan: High rental property demand by students and well-paid city workers is said to be one of the reasons to invest in Midland Mills, Bradford, United Kingdom.Midfield Realty Vice President Vincent Tan said at the launch of a UK property roadshow at Sabah Hotel here on Saturday that Midland Mills was a pre-1900 listed building exuberating with character and architectural features, situated in Bradford city centre where several higher learning institutions are located.

Its environment is also conducive for learning with a collection of small districts, towns, villages surrounding the city and all of which offer their own unique character, said Tan.

More interestingly, its developer Golden Sands Development Ltd was from Malaysia, he said.

A total of 119 apartment units, including 12 units of the proposed additional Duplex studios are available for sale while the first phase of the 27 units from Block A are all sold out, said Tan. Block B and C consist of 49 and 31 units, respectively.

Benefits for the buyers will include a guaranteed rental return for five years, a net yield of minimum 7.5 per cent per annum, the first two years rental paid in advance, fully managed accommodation and a 250-year lease, respectively, he added.
