5 Sabah women are called up for training

Kuala Lumpur: National women's futsal coach Chew Chun Yong has named 20 players to undergo centralised training ahead of the FAC Women's Futsal Championship at the Nilai Indoor Stadium from Sept 21 to 26.The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) in a statement today said two players were dropped from the initial squad that went through two phases of training while the current squad would also undergo two phases of training in Shah Alam.The two players dropped were Nuralin Shafika Omar from Kedah and Nur Aisyah Mohd Tahir (Perak) while Asma Junaidi (Sabah) and Siti Noor Halimi Hussain (Felda United FC) replaced them.

Chun Yong said a majority of the players were picked from the top two teams in the 2015 National Futsal League, comprising seven from Selangor, six from Felda United, Sabah (five) and two from MPSJ FC.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
