Nicholas shares lead in Puchong

Selangor: Nicholas Fung made his move on the second day of the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour's RM180,000 I&P Group Closed Championship at Kinrara Golf Club here, Thursday.He carded a four-under-par 67 to share the lead with first round leader Shaaban Hussin at the top of the leaderboard with a five-under 136 total.Shaaban, who had a nine-under 63 in the first round, stumbled to a one-over 73.

Hans Jamil shot the low round on day-two with a five-under 66 that saw him climb into third place on 137, alongside Kenneth De Silva (67), Muhammad Alwarith Damian (68), M. Sasidaran (70) and Sukree Othman (71).While those performances left the group just a stroke off the lead, Kim Leun Kwang (69), Lim Eng Seng (72) and Airil Rizman (72) were two shots behind the pacesetters on 138 in eighth place.R. PGM general manager Mior Abd Rahman said that is exactly what they expected to unfold today (Friday). "The leaderboard is jam-packed," pointed out Mior.
