Tawau: Sabah Rhinos will be given a stern test by Super League team Felda United in the final match of the Safa Tawau Invitation tournament tonight at the Tawau Sports Complex.Coach Vjeran Simunic who saw his young side defeated Brunei SEA Games squad 2-0 in the opening match Thursday with goals from Mario Tulio Lopes and Alto Linus, will also see how the new team fare against their biggest opponent to date in their pre-season tournament.
Simunic, who has a limited time to put the team together, had earlier hoped for a stronger team to play against so that he can see the true form of his young team.
"The results at the moment are not very important. What I would love to see is the commitment of the players and how much they improved since I took over and also the way they play to my system," he said.
The coach is hoping for another tough match against another Super League side before the start of the season next month.
