73-yr-old dies in Tenom mishap

KEMABONG: A 73-year-old Lundayeh woman from Kg Baru Jumpa, here, was killed when she lost control of the twin cab she was driving at Km 14 of the Tenom-Kemabomng highway on Sunday. She died on the spot.OCPD Deputy Supt. Firdaus Francis said initial investigations indicate that she was drunk when the tragedy occurred at 7pm. He said the case was being investigated under Section 44 (1) of the Road Transport Act, namely driving under the influence of alcohol.
